How We Stopped Chasing Chickens at Nightfall

If you keep chickens, you know the nightly routine. We recently got some new chickens, and for whatever reason, they just flat-out refuse to go up at night. It’s been a total disaster trying to get them into the coop. We have tried literally everything: running around the yard like absolute crazy people trying to catch them, trying to lure them with regular feed... nothing was working.

So I finally tried Coop Cravings limited edition Cinnamon Spice mix, just praying it would do something. The second I opened the bag, the smell hit me... it smells exactly like pumpkin, cinnamon, and apples. It’s amazing! And to be honest, the chickens noticed it immediately. I already had their attention before I even did anything.

So I just shook the bag, called them, and threw some right into their house.

And it worked like a charm. They went right in. I love that it has good health benefits for them as well. But most of all, I’m just so glad I don't have to chase them around in the dark anymore!
